Mescalinaedens track is called October and burns itself through various degrees of intensity from an obtrusive intro to some deep end droning. Luca Robba obviously has a great love for the details of sounds, though he is just as much after effect and size as after substance. Built from various kinds of sounds and noises it pounds and skreeks and thuds all the way through the track. Percussive elements and droning layers keep a good balance here for most of the time to make the track interesting throughout.

November 17th, 2007: ARTEOPEN 2007: multimedia event curated by the artist Franco Milani. Mescalinaeden will play live for the contemporary dance performance "Infinitilimiti" by Stefania Trivellin and Rebecca Pesce. Videos by Giulio De Filippi.

June 9th, 2007: Gig with the London Sinfonietta Orchestra for the re-opening of the Royal Festival Hall.
We will be playing the minimal composition "In C" by Terry Riley.

May 4th, 2007: Gig with the Unknown Devices Orchestra leaded by David Toop at the Tate Britain gallery, Pimlico, at 18. Improvisation on paintings, as part of the Late at the Tate event.

February 28th, 2007: Mescalinaeden will play a one-off gig dedicated to Charlie Chaplin, with the "Unknown Devices" improvisation group (leaded by David Toop) and with the London Symphonietta Orchestra at the Coronet Theatre in London.
